Q1. What is CBS Online?

 

CBS Online is the electronic banking channel of CBS that enables clients to access their accounts and do banking transactions via the Internet or mobile phone.

 

Q2. What is the web address or the URL to access CBS Online?

 

The URL is https://www.cbsonline.com.ph/CBS

 

Q3.Is this service offered for free? Are there any charges for making transactions?

 

CBS Online is offered to our clients free of charge. Transactions, however, are subject to the same fees and charges that apply to the bank’s other delivery channels (e.g. over-the-counter, ATM, etc.)

 

Q4. How will I enroll in CBS Online?

 

''Note: enrollment for ATM based accounts is still not available. For enrollment of ATM accounts, please follow the enrollment for passbook based accounts)

 

For ATM based accounts:

 

  1. Fill out Retail User Activation Form at Your Branch of Account.

  2. Expect your username to be sent to your registered e-mail address.

  3. Upon confirmation with your Branch Officer, claim your PIN Mailer containing your password from your branch of account.

  4. Access www.cbs.com.ph to make an initial login.

  5. Click on “Login” button and key in your username and password.

 

Please take note of the following:

  • The nominated 6 digit PIN will only be available for 24 hours

  • Clients with Joint Accounts linked to their cards will have to enroll their accounts manually in the branch

 

 

For Passbook based accounts:

 

  1. Fill out Retail User Activation Form at Your Branch of Account.

  2. Expect your username and password to be sent to your registered e-mail address.

  3. Access www.cbs.com.ph to make an initial login.

  4. Click on “Login” button and key in your username and password.

 

 

 

Q5. What accounts can be enrolled in CBS Online?

 

You can enroll the following accounts in CBS Online:

 

  1. Deposit Accounts (Easi-Save Basic, Easi-Save ATM, Easi-Save Checking, USD Savings)

  2. Time Deposit Accounts (Easi-Earn, Easi-Earn High Five, USD Time Deposit)

 

Q6. What can I do with the CBS Online?

 

Here are the features of CBS Online:

 

  1. Viewing of Accounts (CA/SA, TD, Loans)

  2. Fund Transfers

    • Transfer to Linked Account

    • Transfer to Other CBS Account

    • Transfer to Other Bank Account

  3. Pay Bills

  4. Enrollment of New Accounts

  5. Checkbook Requests

Password

 

Q8. Why do I need a login password and a transaction password?

 

The two-password requirement prevents others from accessing your accounts and making transactions without your consent. Remember to always keep your passwords secure. Do not divulge them to others or keep a copy where they may be easily lost or stolen.

 

Q9. I forgot my password/s. What do I do next?

 

Call us at telephone no. (02) 885-5423 to 5425 to request for a new set of passwords. You will be asked certain questions to verify your identity—this is for your own security.

Call us at telephone no. (02) 885-5423 to 5425 to request for your current User ID. You will be asked certain questions to verify your identity—this is for your own security.

 

 

 

Linking a New Account

 

Q11. How can I enroll my other accounts to my e-banking account?

 

You can enroll your other accounts by clicking the Services -> Service Requests -> New Requests -> Enrollment of Accounts. From there, simply enter the account number you wish to enroll.

 

Q12. If I lose my ATM Card, and get a new one with a new card number and PIN, do I need to enroll again? What will happen to my CBS Online account?

 

No, your CBS Online account will still be active.

 

 

Monitoring Your Transaction

 

Q13. Will transactions done on weekends or holidays be displayed in Today’s Transactions and Mini-Statement if I log in on those days?

 

Transactions for the day will be displayed in Mini-Statement, but will only be displayed in Today’s Transactions on the following banking day since that will be the posted transaction date.

 

 

 

Bills Payment

 

Q14. How will I know if my scheduled Bills Payment was successful?

 

You can verify successful transactions on or after the scheduled date/s of payment by viewing the transaction history, current day, or mini statement features. You can also view the Completed Transactions and All Transactions menu.

 

Q15. Can I cancel a scheduled bills payment? How?

 

You can cancel a scheduled bills payment by following these steps:

 

  1. Under the Transactions menu, click on “Scheduled Transactions.”

  2. Select the transaction you wish to cancel, then click on the “Stop” button below.

  3. Enter your User ID and transaction password

 

 

Q16. How can I enroll a biller?

 

You can enroll a biller by following these steps?

 

  1. Under the Transactions menu, click on “Manage Billers”

  2. Select “Register a Biller” in the dropdown then click on “OK.”

  3. Select the biller that you would like to enroll, then click on the “Register” button below.

  4. Select a nickname for your biller, enter the account/subscriber/card number, then click on “Continue.”

  5. Enter your user ID and transaction password

 

 

Q17. Is biller enrollment required before bills payment?

 

No. You can pay for billers not enrolled in your CBS Online account.

 

 

 

Fund Transfer

 

Q18. Is there a fee for transferring funds to another CBS account?

 

Online fund transfer to another CBS account is free of charge.

 

 

Q19. Is there a free for inter-bank fund transfer?

 

Yes, there is a minimal fee for inter-bank fund transfer.

 

Q20. Is there a specific limit amount per transaction?

 

Limit for transferring funds to another CBS account is Php50,000 while for another bank account is Php20,000.

 

Q21. I have a scheduled fund transfer and I forgot to fund the account number, what will happen to the transaction?

 

The transaction will be rejected on the date scheduled.

 

Q22. I have a scheduled fund transfer, when will it be debited from the source account?

 

Your account will be debited by 7:00 AM of the scheduled payment date.

 

Q23. How can I enroll a transferee account?

 

You can enroll a biller by following these steps?

 

  1. Under the Transactions menu, click on “Manage Transferee”

  2. Select “Add Transferee” in the dropdown then click on “OK.”

  3. Enter the name and nickname of your transferee, then fill out the other details requested.

  4. Enter your user ID and transaction password

 

 

Q24. Is transferee registration required below fund transfer?

 

Yes. You cannot transfer to an account not registered as transferee in your CBS Online.

 

 

Q25. How will the transferee be approved by the bank?

 

Please call us at (02) 885-5423 to 5425 for the approval of your enrolled transferee.

 

 

 

Security

 

Q26. Why does my login session expire?

 

For added security, the system automatically logs off if your online session is idle for ten minutes.
