The Department of Education has authorized CBS China Bank Savings to offer Easi-APD loan top-ups to public school teachers and staff in the Typhoon Kristine calamity zone.
"We are ready to extend immediate financing so DepEd personnel and their families can quickly get back on their feet, especially with the Christmas holidays fast approaching," said Niel C. Jumawan, APD Lending Group Head. "Having ourselves been in the path of Typhoon Kristine, CBS employees understand the urgency of getting funds to where they can make the biggest difference."
The multi-purpose Easi-APD top-up loan offers up to P1-million in financing, with a longer term of up to five years and lower interest rates. The emergency program covers the following areas:

Region 2: Tuguegarao City
•
Cordillera Autonomous Region: Apayao, Ifugao, and Mountain Provinces
•
Region 4A: Cavite City; and the provinces of Batangas and Quezon
•
Region 5: Sorsogon City, and the towns of Bulan, Bulusan, Barcelona, Casiguran, Castilla, Donsol, Gubat, Irosin, Juban, Magallanes, Matnog, Pilar, Prieto Diaz, and Sta. Magdalena in Sorsogon province
Borrowers can avail of the Easi-APD top-up loan from CBS APD Lending Centers and branch lites until February 21, 2025. These
offices are open Monday to Saturday, from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm.
