CBS China Bank Savings proudly opened the doors of its new and relocated Macabebe Branch on May 26, a demonstration of its commitment to delivering the best banking products and services to the people of Pampanga.
This reopening marks a significant milestone as the old Macabebe branch had never been renovated since it was acquired in the 2013 merger of CBS and Pampanga-based Unity Bank. The original Macabebe branch opened in 1980 and is the oldest branch of the former rural bank.

Now situated in a brand-new, strategically located D.H. Polintan Building in Poblacion, Brgy. San Gabriel, the new Macabebe Branch offers improved accessibility, enhanced facilities, and a refreshed customer experience that reflects the Bank's commitment to bringing better banking services closer to the community as part of its promise of “Easy Banking For You.” The spacious branch layout combines efficiency with comfort, ensuring a welcoming and streamlined environment for clients.
“This branch represents our deepening relationship with the communities of Pampanga. This is more than just a relocation—it’s a symbol of growth, continuity, and progress.” said CBS Senior Vice President Jan Nikolai M. Lim, head of the Retail Banking Group.
The branch’s relocation underscores the Bank's ongoing transformation efforts to modernize its network and serve more Filipinos with excellence and integrity. Local officials, community leaders, and long-time clients joined CBS executives at the inauguration ceremony, celebrating not only a new location but also a renewed partnership between the Bank and the Macabebe community.
