CBS China Bank Savings Enhances Safety Measures Through NDRRMC-Led Emergency Drills

To increase emergency preparedness and support the NDRRMC’s goal of strengthening the nation’s resilience against disasters, CBS China Bank Savings held fire and earthquake drills at their various offices and branches. Branch employees and those working in the Salcedo Tower offices participated in the drills on March 12, 2026; while Head Office employees conducted their simulation on Friday, March 13, 2026. Through these exercises, employees demonstrated the “duck, cover, and hold” safety action during earthquake tremors, exhibiting the importance of protecting oneself from falling debris and materials. Fire Drill 3 Proper evacuation measures and assembly procedures were likewise followed during the fire drill, wherein employees calmly proceeded to the fire exits and convened in the assigned meeting areas. The CBS Head Office, in particular, received a good rating from the Bureau of Fire, as employees completely evacuated the building within the span of fifteen (15) minutes. These fire drills were evaluated by Superior Fire Officer 2, Charton Rioteta; Fire Officer 2, Aristotle Tolentino; Fire Officer 1, Michael Ramos; and Fire Officer 1, Shuqree Hiya.
