CBS Signs 20 Billion Peso Housing Guarantee Facility with PhilGuarantee
To further strengthen and advance home ownership in the Philippines, CBS China Bank Savings (CBS) partnered with the Philippine Guarantee Corporation (PhilGuarantee) for a twenty (20) billion Peso housing guarantee facility.
Last March 26, 2026, representatives from both CBS and PhilGuarantee gathered at the BPI AIA building for the ceremonial signing of this partnership. Notably, in attendance were Kristine Michele C. Broadhurst, Vice President II CBS Consumer Lending Group Head; Luis Bernardo A. Puhawan, Senior Vice President CBS Controllership Group Head; Teresito Cayo A. Butardo, PhilGuarantee Senior Vice President; and Alberto E. Pascual, PhilGuarantee President and CEO.
Through this partnership with PhilGuarantee, CBS can further expand access to affordable housing solutions nationwide, thereby improving customers’ quality of life and fostering growth within the housing sector.
