CBS Caravan to Sarangani for Teachers' Financial Wellness

The eco-tourism town of Glan in Sarangani province became this year's first stop in the CBS China Bank Savings Financial Wellness Roadshow. The caravan in partnership with the Department of Education is CBS's contribution to the 2025 National Teachers Month program of activities.
CBS President James Christian T. Dee and FVP Niel C. Jumawan inaugurated this year's roadshow at Glan School of Arts and Trades on September 5. The training seminar is designed to enhance financial well-being, encourage savings and credit consciousness, and hone smart money management skills among DepEd faculty and non-teaching personnel.
“CBS is ready to help our educators in their financial wellness journey toward financial freedom," the CBS President told teachers. "This is our way of giving back to the teaching community that shapes our nation’s future every day.”
The caravan will travel to Dumaguete City on September 19 and to Iloilo City on September 24. CBS will also participate in DepEd regional National Teachers’ Month launch activities, which is expected to draw thousands in Dumaguete City on September 21 and the grand National Teachers Day celebration on October 6 in SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.
