Cebu launch for SME Kapihan roadshow 2024
CBS China Bank Savings launched the 2024 SME Kapihan speaker series at the Azia Suites & Residences in Cebu City on 22 February.
The by-invitation Kapihan is designed to be a venue for SMEs to strengthen networks in their respective community. CBS made the conscious decision to kick off the 2024 CBS SME Kapihan nationwide roadshow in Cebu, which is the country's fastest growing metropolis and a platform for SMEs and export industries.
The year's pilot SME Kapihan featured the Bank's Cebu-based SME account managers, and resource persons from Chinabank Insurance Brokers, Inc., China Bank Funds Management and Manulife Chinabank Life Assurance Corp. who shared insights from decades of experience in the industry.
SME Kapihan is part of the CBS Build & Rise Initiative, the ongoing program to promote consumer confidence and the spirit of entrepreneurship, especially in the countryside.
The SME Kapihan speaker series is scheduled to visit other SME growth centers in the country over the next several months.
