Filled with insightful sessions and engaging conversations, CBS China Bank Savings participation in the Naga City leg of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) Paleng-QR PH Plus blitz was a success. The activity on August 8 intends to make Naga City digital payments ready.
CBS supports the Paleng-QR PH advocacy. The initiative seeks to push for the acceptance of digital payments among market vendors, community shopkeepers, tricycle operators and drivers in all cities and municipalities in the country

"The shift to cashless transactions will benefit both merchants and buyers, and strengthen the country's economy," according to Abigail C. Victoria, technical support head at CBS Channels Management Department. "By simply scanning the QR code using their mobile phones, consumers and merchants benefit from the faster, secure and more convenient payment option."
The
CBS digital and retail banking team was present to respond to inquiries and make mobile banking-enabled CBS
Basic Deposit and
CBS Easi-Save accounts available to street hawkers, shopkeepers and members of transport association.
CBS sees active engagement with the Paleng-QR PH Plus program in 2024, consistent with its Build and Rise Initiative.
