CBS confident in Macabebe’s future prospects

June 3, 2025 CBS China Bank Savings, the country’s second largest thrift bank, is determined to become a household name among Capampangans by winning more hearts and minds (and deposits) in Macabebe, the thriving aqua-farming municipality on the Manila Bay coast. Makati-based thrift bank CBS recently moved its Macabebe Branch to the more spacious address in the newly-built D.H. Polintan Building in San Gabriel, Poblacion. The new branch location is a few strides away from the main plaza and town hall, and can comfortably accommodate the steady influx of Macabebe businesses and residents transacting with the bank. CBS Macabebe. Macabebe branch was acquired during the 2013 merger of CBS and Pampanga-based Unity Bank. The original branch made significant contributions to Macabebe’s economic life since it opened in 1980. It was the oldest branch of the former rural lender Unity Bank, and has been in continuous service ever since. Today, CBS operates 13 branches in Pampanga province and a total retail banking network of 170 branches and 107 branch-lites and lending offices nationwide. The Bank also offers mobile and online banking services, supported by 250 ATMs. Learn more about CBS Macabebe: Bigger, better CBS branch now serving Macabebe
