CBS backs Paleng-QR Ph kickoff in Talisay, Cebu

CBS China Bank Savings joined the national push for the Paleng-QR Ph cashless, inclusive digital payment system in Talisay City, Cebu today. Talisay City is one of six out of Cebu's 53 local government units participating in the program of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas.
Paleng-QR Plus, in cooperation with local government units and financial institutions like CBS, aims to build the digital payments ecosystem in the country by promoting cashless payments in public markets and transportation terminals.
The Paleng-QR Ph system allows fund transfers by simply scanning QR codes with mobile phones, making payments faster, more secure, and more convenient. CBS Talisay City Branch actively engaged with shopkeepers, vendors and transport workers by offering advice and assistance for digital account set up.
CBS is able to support the integration of small businesses and the self-employed into digital payments system through the CBS GO digital onboarding app and the mobile banking-enabled CBS Basic Deposit and CBS Easi-Save accounts.
