CBS Lights Up for the Holidays

CBS China Bank Savings marked the year's most festive season with its annual Tree Lighting ceremony at the Makati Head Office. The ceremonial lighting, held on November 14, was led by CBS President James Christian T. Dee, alongside CBS Directors Philip Tsai and Genaro Lapez, the CBS Management Committee, and officers of the CBS Employees Union.
This year, the CBS Head Office lobby features the beautifully adorned "Floating CBS Tree," amidst the cascade of rippling, twinkling firefly lights. First introduced in 2021, the CBS Tree symbolizes family, friendship, celebration, and the Bank's hopes for a prosperous year ahead.
In his remarks before lighting the CBS Tree, CBS President James Christian T. Dee highlighted that the annual gathering has come to represent "the warmth of friendship and the light of inspiration" within the CBS family.
"As we enter this most festive of occasions, we reflect on another successful year for China Bank Savings. Management is confident that CBS will sustain its momentum and increasingly narrow the gap with the competition in our Surge to Number One," he said. "This year’s Christmas Tree Lighting marks another milestone in our journey as a close-knit community, ushering in the holiday season with renewed hope and optimism."
The public is welcome to view the Christmas display, which is switched on during business hours and is visible from the De la Costa Driveway entrance and the Bank's front lawn from 5:30 PM onwards.
