CBS joins National Flag Day celebration

CBS China Bank Savings joined members of the community to STOP and SALUTE during the nationwide synchronized flag-raising rites in government offices, business districts and residential villages today, May 28, 2025 at 8:00 am.
CBS Head Office in Makati will display the national tricolor on its facades in observance of the National Flag Days from May 28 to June 12, Independence Day

National Flag Day commemorates the triumph of the Philippine Revolutionary Army over Spanish forces during the Battle of Alapan in Imus, Cavite. On May 28, 1898, General Emilio Aguinaldo unfurled what would become the national flag at the Teatro Caviteño in present-day Cavite City. This victory led to the liberation of the province of Cavite from Spanish control and the declaration of the independence on June 12 of the same year.
