CBS Branch opens at Nova Plaza Mall in Novaliches
CBS China Bank Savings - Novaliches Branch opened with simple rites on July 3 at newly-renovated Nova Plaza Mall, Quirino Highway corner Ramirez Street in Quezon City. News of the long-anticipated opening was welcomed by residents and merchants in the busy district, with our Novaliches Branch service team reporting keen interest in the Bank's Easi-Save ATM, CBS My First Million savings and the CBS CheckMate All-in-One checking accounts.
"Bayan ng Novaliches, kami ay nagbalik. You spoke. We listened. Today, after time away, CBS China Bank Savings is back, and we are here to stay," Business Manager Lino G. Sison said. CBS originally had a presence in the site, which closed to make way for the extensive renovation of the mall. Customers and residents have made inquiries and clamored over the years for a CBS presence in the Nova Plaza neighborhood, which to date has minimal presence from financial institutions.

The ceremonial ribbon was clipped by Ruben and Cecile Roque, the couple behind the re-energized Nova Plaza Mall, and Evelyne M. Dominguez, Vice President of Metro Manila College, a long-time institutional client of CBS. Metro Manila College is especially noted for having in its campus an ancient duhat tree under which Katipunan supporters would meet during the struggle for Philippine Independence.
