A podium finish for CBS | Rock 'n' Roll Manila Marathon
Runners from CBS China Bank Savings laced up their running shoes and vied for a coveted podium finish in this year’s Rock 'n' Roll Manila Marathon on November 26, 2023. In a crowd of over 9,600 runners, which took up most of Roxas Boulevard (in front of kilometer zero), CBS runners stood out in bright hues of red and white, proudly cheering the Bank’s name.
The Bank sponsored a three-month wellness clinic for 100 registered CBS runners to ensure they were in top shape. These sessions took a holistic approach and focused on physical training, proper diet, and adequate mental preparation. More than finishing the 10-kilometer run, the event created a sense of community geared toward encouraging healthier lifestyle choices.
"At CBS China Bank Savings, we believe in finishing each year strong," according to CBS China Bank President James Christian T. Dee. "Our goal every year is a podium finish in pursuit of excellence. We practice this as bankers growing our client’s wealth and in our personal lives as we protect our health!" Mr. Dee urged colleagues to "show everyone our passion to exceed expectations" and "go for that podium finish!"
